Eligibility:

Persons must be at least 21 years old and have otained a valid Illinois FOID Card under Illinois Law 430 ILCS 65/.

The Training:

You will receive training specific to the "Modern Technique"  of defensive hangun. This class is a marksmanship driven course

at the 'outer envelope' of practical handgun shooting distances. This course will cover the following: Reinforcement of pure marksmanship

fundamentals with a handgun, Use of supportive shooting positions, Use of cover in relation to target engagement, Strong and

support side shooting considerations and movement to and from cover. This class is step three in our "Building Block" series of

handgun classes and ties all fundamentals learned in the previous course material while adding a tactics component as well.

Registraion:

The course tuition will be $150.00 per person for the eight (8) hour class. The listed price includes all range fees.

Students must be pre-registered and have FULL payment received to attend this class. Upon receiving your registration, a course rules and

administrative form will be emailed to you with additional information. Upon receiving your registration, a course rules and administration

sheet will be emailed back to you with additional information. A Certificate of Training will be provided to you upon successful completion of this class.

Equipment:

You will need the following items for this course: 1) A defensive caliber handgun. 2) 150 rds of target ammunition(minimum). 3) At least 2 usable

magazines for your handgun. 4) A usable holster (OWB or IWB). 5) Eye and ear protection. 6) Knee.Elbow pads (optional). 7) Note taking material.

8) An open mind.
